The way I play import games is by ripping the ISO, patching it with ESRDiscPatcher, and then burning it onto a normal DVD-R disc. The Swap Magic 3 boot discs are probably the easiest way, but it's not compatible with all games. FreeDVDBoot is a dirt cheap option if you have some blank DVDR's lying around and the right system model/BIOS version.
